Tour Summary

While vacationing in tropical locations, have you ever desired to explore the amazing underwater depths while scuba diving? Don't be satisfied with simply snorkeling high above the splendid coral reefs, teeming wrecks, and dramatic undersea walls. Take an Open Water Certification course with the PADI certified instructors of Eagle Divers. After our expert instruction, you will be fully certified to scuba dive in depths up to sixty feet. PADI is the preeminent scuba diving organization, recognized throughout the world.

You will not find a better place to learn to scuba than in the crystal-clear waters off the Baja Peninsula. With calm warm waters and a plethora of aquatic species, the Sea of Cortez is the perfect place to learn to dive. You'll witness a kaleidoscope of tropical fish as well as other species, including, Rays, Eels, Crustaceans, Octopi, Sea Horses, Sea Turtles, Sponges, Corals, and perhaps even Bottlenose Dolphins. Once certified, you'll be able to freely explore the amazing undersea environs off Cabo San Lucas and all over the globe.

The Open Water Certification course involves a three-step program, including classroom study, pool orientation, and the actual location dives. Usually, this course only requires three or four days, encompassing five classroom meetings, five pool sessions, and four open-water dives. We provide plenty of intensive instruction, keeping the student/teacher ratio low. Our expert divemasters will accompany you every step of the way. The only initial requirements to participate in this course are: good health, sufficient fitness, and some familiarity with the water.

Thanks to the professional guides! I was a bit worried about kayaking because I had never done it before, but the instructions were great and I had such a good time!
